Strongheart giggled as he ducked down beside Jules, he's finally managed to escape his lessons for the day and had every intention of enjoying the rest of the afternoon when a whiff of Bumble berry pie caught his nose.
"Come on, think we can get a taste?" he asked, already trying to find from which window sill the delightful smell was coming from.

"Maybe, dunno," Jules said quietly, looking at Strongheart. "So, how's your," he paused, struggling to get the word out, "girlfriend?" Whether he meant Lady or the Duchess was open very much to debate. His younger sister, Celise, had all but given up hope that Strongheart would even notice her in that sense.

"What girl friend?" Strongheart returned before cluing in, "Heh, still have them playing against each other. It's amusing to watch Ravenwaves and Lady try and win me, as it were."

"And when are they going to realize that you don't even like them?" Jules asked, arching an eyebrow. "Or is there a lady you have in mind..?"

"Nope no Lady." Strongheart shrugged, "What do I need one of them for? They rarely do anything other then primp and that's just boring. As for if they figure it out, who knows when they both can be more then a little dense. But enough about me and my woes, what about you and your unrequited love?" Strongheart teased, turning the tables.

Jules colored prettily. Coughing to cover his embarrassment, he turned the tables back on Strongheart. "What about my baby sister, Celise? She's not into that primping nonsense."

"No she's not but she's also your baby sister. And she's like a sister to me so it's just weird to think of her as anything other then your sister." Strongheart responded this was an old argument so he was well prepared for it and not all that flustered.

"Father did mention that some of the other boys are starting to get interested in her," he pointed out. "Frederick did take a fancy to her, brought her flowers yesterday." He was quite eager to see how Strongheart would react to that. "And Phillip offered to carry her books for her after school lets out for the day."

"And your not trying to be over protective of her?" Strongheart asked, he really did view Celise as a younger sibling; a sister that he never had.

"Ask me how many times I've had to clean the stables because I decked some upstart who thought he could get Celise?" Jules retorted. He could see the faintest hint of jealousy sparkle in Strongheart's eyes.

"Heh, I know about most of them because you complain about all the work you have to do." Strongheart commented.

"Someone sounds jealous..."

To that Strongheart laughed, "Of all the work you had to do not a chance. Getting to hit some of those boys, yeah I would be. As for your constantly trying to pair me off with your sister, would you stop? It's not going to happen, she's like a sister to me."

"One of these days I'll wear you down to the point where you'd say yes," Jules said with a laugh. "Besides, Father likes you."

"What does you father liking me have to do with anything?" Strongheart asked as he spotted the pies.
