"That she is Jules, but if it makes you feel better two thirds of the time when I see her she fall asleep on me." Strongheart said with a wiry grin, "Much to Celise's annoyance Prince has become very good at getting her to do what he wants. Is Celise the only one in your family with traces of magic?" Strongheart asked deciding that a change of subject would be a good thing.

: "As far as we know, m'lord," Jules said quietly. "The twins are far too young and the other two show no sign. It's just Celise. But then, Shining Glory did heal her when she was deathly ill as a child so perhaps a trace of his magic found a home in her. I don't know."

Strongheart didn't respond aloud to that but thought about what he had been told. That would explain how she had the magic but could also explain why it cost Celise so much to use the magic. "How are Etienne, Léon, Ariane, and Hélène?"

: Jules shook his head. "Etienne hates the fact that Celise spends more time at Glory Manor then here and he blames me for having her there. We've argued about that many a time. Ariane tries to keep me from killing Etienne. Of course, she's sick and tired of the fights and just wishes Celise would step in to break them up but Celise is usually too tired to even deal with us after she comes home from Glory Manor. And as for the twins, nothing but trouble. They're into everything."

"I'm sorry Etienne blames you, but I can understand how he feels. Celise has always been here then all of a sudden she's gone for long hours." Strongheart did sympathize with the boy, he knew he would feel the same way if that happened to him. "Trouble? the twins?" Strongheart grinned even when they were tiny they were utterly curious.

: "I suppose, but with the way Etienne acts, you'd think she was never coming back," Jules said quietly. "And yes, the twins are trouble. Léon was caught by Ariane trying to attach paper wings to a bull frog. And his twin was encouraging him."

Strongheart grinned when he heard that; he remembered how much of a terror he had been. "I never tried paper wings did it work?" Strongheart couldn't help but ask.

: "No, Celise threatened to tie paper wings on *him* if he tried to do that again. She has this thing about seeing frog guts on the front step of the house."

Strongheart laughed he could see Celise threatening to do that. "What other escapades have your little trouble makers been up to?"

: "Celise wears herself out trying to keep them from killing themselves with a hair brained plot." He shook his head. "I suppose it's my fault for keeping those books you gave Celise on science when she was younger on shelves that they could reach."

"But who showed them the books the first time. I have a feeling that they wouldn't have picked up the books unless someone showed them all the interesting things those particular books held." Strongheart responded with a look; knowing full well Celise handed the books over in the first place. Although it secretly pleased him that they kept the books and were still enjoying them.

"With that in mind even if you put the books out of reach they still would have found a way to get those books." Strongheart said.
