Celise nodded and sipped her tea, relaxing for the first time in a long while.

"Now that your finally looking more like your self," Mali smiled a little while later, "What's your schedule going to be like? I think we need to make time for an afternoon here or there."

"Busy. Shining Glory, while a dear man and a wise one at that, really has no concept of taking care of himself, his house and that dog from hell."

"So that means you can't take time off or make that don't since I bet if Shining Glory knew what you were doing he'd send you home more often."

"More of the latter then the former."

"Celise, you need to take at least one afternoon for yourself before you make yourself sick." Mali said, utterly exasperated. "You are just about as stubborn as your brother is, but I am more so. So that means I'm giving you a choice, you pick one day a week that you take off to enjoy the day. Or I set the twins on you to ensure you don't leave your room."

"Okay, okay, I got the hint," Celise said, sound exasperated as well. "But until Jules is able to make a living, I need to be the one bringing money in and days off are a pure luxery." She sighed and sipped her tea. "But I'll see what I can do about taking one day off. Provided my siblings respect that."

"It's one day and I don't expect you to actually take complete day off but at least one day preferably two that your not up at the Manor. That would give you a day to do the stuff that needs to be done at home, the stuff you don't want to share with your siblings." Mali lightly teased but utterly serious, she'd rather not see her friend ill again. "And for you days off is not a luxury it's a necessity. As for your brother and work if he bothered to do something useful with his carvings or show someone his carvings. Think your brother would want to kill me if I gave his name to old man Harrison? Mr. Harrison has been complaining about his work isn't what it used to be like because his hands are to gnarled."

Celise shook her head no. "And Jules has kind of shown his work.. He gave Lily those dolls she wanted for her last birthday. The prince and lady set. And before that he gave Tim those dragon figures."

"To the kids who want nothing to do with our local furniture maker." Mali grinned, "They are all convinced he's crazy."

"He's been known to act like it. Personally, I think it's an act to get the children to stop pestering him."

"Probably, but it's not something us kids figure out until we're old enough to leave him alone anyways."

Celise nodded before coughing. She waved Mali away. "I'm fine, I'm fine. Just the dust."

Mali just gave her a disbelieving look but let it drop. "If you say so."

She nodded. "I can't afford to get sick, Mali. You know that," she sighed quietly.
