: Jules looked at her, confused for a moment. "All right," he said, sound not to sure as to what she was getting at by handing him the basket.

Feeling a little silly at the gesture now, "I know that even though it the same recipe it's not going to be like the ones Celise makes for you guys. I guess I just figured at you all could use a little bit of home here."

: Jules's eyes widened. "Oh," he said, not too keen on getting hand outs. But he wasn't going to say that to Mali. It was awkward enough between the two of them.

As her mother was the local gossip, Mali probably knew more about everyone then even they did. When ever her mother's ladies weren't around Mali was the unfortunate recipient of her mother's chatter. As such she knew about Jules aversion to receiving help in any form, Mali hadn't meant for it to come across that way but she was almost betting it did.
"If you can't accept it for what it is, a gesture of friendship. Then accept it as a thank you, a thank you for treating me like a person and not the little female who is only good bare foot and pregnant in the kitchen." Yep, foolish move on her part, she really should have known better.

: Jules colored. "You'll have to forgive me," he admitted. "I thought it was a pity handout. Some of the women who, ah, you remember my reputation before I was crippled, well, they'd give me pity hand outs and that would anger both me and Celise." He gave a small wry grin. "And.. you're welcome."

"I'm not those women, and will never be like them. I don't think I've ever pitied you, you and your family have this amazing ability to bounce back from what ever life throws your way. And I hope that when this is all said and done we can at least be friends."

: Jules smiled. "Thank you, Mali," he said softly. His eyes glanced up and over her. "Well, we won't have to go looking for him - he came looking for us." He gestured at the "snarlie" behind Mali. "So, shall we tell him now?"

"I don't see what good will come from waiting." Mali responded as she turned to look at Prince. Gesturing for Prince to come over and join them, "We have your medallion but I can't get it."

Strongheart had been trying to figure out why he was suddenly having anger issues with people wondering around the castle, it wasn't even his home. What the girl said instantly captured his attention and Strongheart went over to see what they had to say about his medallion. He hoped that it wasn't going to be difficult to get back.

: Jules sighed quietly. "Ravenwaves has it hidden in her grounds, where the snarlies are kept, Strongheart. Mali can't get close without getting hurt. Therefore, we're going to need you to get it."

They found where his medallion? But how was that going to help Celise, he really didn't care if he remained a dog but he had to find a way to wake Celise up.

: "Mali told me that in order for Celise to be awakened... You have to be human to kiss her."

Mali just sat back and let Jules talk to Prince, she really didn't know what to say or how to speak to the dog now that she knew it was her Prince.

All he had to do was kiss Celise once he was back in human form and she would be okay? Was that really all that it would take, he couldn't believe that it was that simple.

: Jules looked at the "snarlie". "Something's bugging you. It's the fact that it seems too easy, isn't it?"
