: Strongheart gave a halfhearted growl at Shining Glory's suggestion that he was going to pine for the girl. But it would make the adjustment to being a dog easier. There was nothing he could do until Shining Glory found someway to break the curse over him.

: Strongheart thanked Shining Glory before the alteration was complete. He still had a faint human quality to him but could at least now act like the dog he was cursed to be.

He did feel guilty that he had to do this to the young maiden - but it was the best way to keep her and everyone else safe.

: Shining Glory entered the home of Strongheart's squire hours later and sat down to talk with the parents, to inform them of what he planned on doing to better protect the children. He turned to the canine and whispered directions to where Celise was - someone who was in desperate need of companionship at the moment.

: Taking the hint, Prince made his way down the hallway and nudged his way into Celise's room. Walking over to the bed, Strongheart streached out before leaping onto the end of her bed; ignoring the hissing Kitten, Prince curled up and waited for Celise to wake.

Celise stirred slowly, coughing as she woke up. "Hello," she said, stroking the dog's fur. "Where'd you come from?"
